Wtf the crack directory is empty? Otherwise it installed fine.
edit: Hehe Stupid explorer.exe showed the crack folder from CD1 when CD3 was inserted. I hate when it does that. Works fine now.

This is actually the most advanced chess engine in existence. the strength of AI really depends on the processing power of your computer i'f i'm not mistaken.
I don't think any human has beatnen the engine contained in Chessmaster 10th edition.

An interesting fact:
The previously highest ranked chess engine was the Shredder 8.0 CB 256MB Athlon 1200 MHz = 2818. (http://w1.859.telia.com/~u85924109/ssdf/list.htm)
Chessmaster 10ed is ranked at 2932!

the engine is beatable... humans have won already one against the fastest computers (combined power, heavy engine)
anyway, this appeared on the ubi board:
The 1.0.1. patch for the retail version is now available at ftp://ftp.ubi.com/us/games/chessmaster10/patches/CMPatch01.zip
The 1.0.1. patch address the following issues:
1. Fixes some connection issues preventing certain players from starting online games.
2. Eliminates the disconnection bug which lead to the dreaded "Connection with router lost" message in the middle of an online chess game.
3. Adds pawn promotion animations to the animated Rubber chess set.
4. Fixes a bug in an Academy tutorial.
anyone tested the patch to see if it works without being cracked? The previous Version of CM (9) retail patch did not need any cracking... i'm just to lazy to find out myself =)
