C'est arrivé pres de chez nous - 8.5/10
This is a great low-budget movie, follows the life of a hitman in Belgium (fictional).
I liked the style of humour in it too :

I actually like Batman Forever. Haven't watched that also in a while so that might change (like with Returns). Then again I might be just crazy. B&R sucked though.

Saw it at home last night. Finally got around to it. Served with Tuna Sashimi. Very Happy

9/10. Thought it was original. Reminded me of that popular cliché by whoever “One mans Terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter” and who ever wins the war rewrites history. I would watch it a second time.

7 Old ass B. Willis out of 10.
Watched "The three burials of melquiades" day before yesterday. Pretty good. A little odd but interesting.
8 dead mexicans out of 10.

Mission Impossible 3 - 7.0 - Pretty nice action flick with new and fancy hardware. Though they could have gone back to the 1st one which focus more on the agent stuff instead of plain old action.

flight 93: 7/10 pretty intense, but too hollywood style
united 93: 8/10 nicely done, no big stories going on, just what it was supposed to be. average people like you and me, finding themselves in a very bad situation...

both movies got their pros and cons. even though i rated united 93 higher than flight 93, i think flight 93 was more intense. there were moments where i almost felt like being there, and every so often i felt really weird in my stomache. but nevertheless, united 93 was better made...

Slevin
Some said you have to be drunk, I disagree. It would be too hard to follow.
7/10

I liked the way it shuffled between timeframes. The misleading part in the very
beginning about junior. I liked the whole waiting on the revenge. About the g/f.

Date movie
Hard to say. 6/10 or 7/10

Like the way it tied into all different movies but half the stuff I couldn’t remember. It needs to be watched with a bunch of people so they can fill in the blanks.

Was the musical dinner part was a Joss reference... ? Right? Buffy musical? Anya thing right?

The Omen 8/10--

I never seen the original so I had nothing to base it on, but I thought it was a pretty good movie, decent, and even scary at some parts. I don't really enjoy having loud noises and fucked up pictures flash on screen, specially in the reflection of a mirror, even though almost all movies do that.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children 7.5/10 B Grade :

A good sequel to the game, far better then Final Fantasy Spirits Within which did not capture the feel of the Final Fantasy franchise. The only disappointing thing about it was that it was too short leaving little room for the other characters to shine.

The Hills Have Eyes (2006 Version) - 8/0 - Excellent horror which the director Alexandre Aja (High Tension) breaks the stream of shitty horror (when a stranger calls, Cry_wolf etc) with a film which uses amazing camera work, a cast which works and gore element which seems shocking and realistic.
