OFF TOPIC AGAIN: World Of Warcraft-gfx engine Is a modified WARCRAFT 3-engine, Nuff said.

Guild wars have never been something Im willing to check out... dono. Those kinda games are fun for a short while.. and If you gonna be successfull you have to spend alot of time.

I don't know where you people get your info pulling it out your back ends or what?, modified warcraft 3 engine sure and everything else thats ever been made except WoW is based off a modified version of pong Rolling Eyes

Well, I got no links to that Info.. But please, If you play WoW and look at Warcraft 3.. the gfx In those games are almost identic. Its just In a bigger scale.. and modified for the purpose.. I dont understand why you doubt it..

The game is fully 3D, and its engine shares some elements with the proprietary engine developed for Warcraft III.

Yes and all the areas are locked now so you just cant go wandering into new areas you have to follow the main quest to unlock the next place.
Which is just aswell as otherwise it would be even shorter.

Yes shares elements, same no, based on no, they may have used some rendering techniques yes, but it's not WC3 engine it's simply not capable of it.

Of course it not the WC3 engine, hence the word, modified. And engines can be improved... Rolling Eyes

I played this for about a year now (prophecies and now factions), I'm the founder of a Alliance using 3 guilds (all our guilds, no outsiders), one focussing on pvp, one pve and one recruitment..

I've never been bored with it really... I do however love Prophecies campaign more then Canthan ... my GW collection includes:

GW PreOrder
GW
GW Special Edition
GW Collector Edition
GW 2006
GWF PreOrder
GWF Ritualist Box
GWF Assassin Box (same as Rit in content but different box art)
GWF Colelctor Edition

And some other stuff as some promotional GW boxes and the official GW TShirt, also going to Leipzig in Germany this year to get myself the GW Skill Pins they are handing out on the GW World Championship.
