Sublime, while I applaud Nintendo for trying something different I think it might be the end of them.
I don't really think they are in a position to be taking such risks, unlike Sony and Microsoft who have almost unlimited resources.
We shall see, but to be honest I wouldn't mind if Nintendo went the way of Sega. Just concentrated on making good games and forgot about the console war. I don't like having to buy three consoles just to play the best games.

??? I play my Xbox (Not 360) in 720p. I wont even play it on a standard tv res 480i. Even current gen consoles look like ass without HD.
but anyways i agree that nintendo will have no probelms with the Wii. Nintendo is looking at inovation, and they have some very interesting patents in the works. But on the other hand i think nintendo has a way to optomistic view about there position in gaming. Some of the nintendo executives/CEO think the Wii will bring them back to the NES/SNes erra of nintendo domination.
Have you guys seen the rumor about the Wii having a built in projector/display. Ill post the link when i find it again.

new controller = poorly demonstrated. The shoulda showed more from resistance usin that controller. nothin impressed me though and it didnt say the GBP price just in euros. But still 500 $ to 500 euro is nearly £100!
Not bein a fanboy but I do think the Wii pwns that controller in so many ways. That shit they demonstrated is only the same as what we saw with diddy kong pilot nearly 3 years ago.
Distinctly unimpressed if you ask me :/ 8 days / weeks (forgot the name) looked good tho but we didnt see enough in-game stuff. Some of it was shit tho like thenba / tiger woods demonstrations. Did u see the shaodws on his t-shirt, and then his t-shirt not even movin? Little things like that stuck out like a sore thumb to me.

Argree completely. The 8 weeks (or whatever) game was the only impressive thing there really, if it truely was ingame.

Well to me quite a lot only looked like cut scenes / sequences. The only in-game bit looked like the car chase bit where you saw the mac-10 in the corner of the screen.
Here's hoping Microsoft and nintendo suprise us even more, afterall nintendo is supposedly hidin a big secret.

Yeah, Microsoft have at least had a while for the developers to create something special, and Nintendo look like they're actually trying to innovate so it will be interesting to see what they come up with. I'm hoping they show some people playing that FPS using the new controller.
As for sony, I think they're desperately trying to get people interested, and the developers just haven't had enough time to create anything impressive yet. I mean they've only had six months, and thats with beta development kits. I have no doubt they'll be a serious contender, but they've rushed to be ready for E3.

They show the Halo3 trailer, MGS4 trailer (right at the end), Spore (FUCKIN SICK ASS GAME) and Wii
Tomorrow is SC:DA, Madden 07, Hitman coverage and some other shit i cant remember |
