Can someone tell me what is the requirements for this counter strike source?
Is it a standalone and so on...and can you actually play it "now" if downloaded from steam for example? Is there any offline bot thingys etc...
I dont have any valid keys...i am just interested to test this new engine ... |

Duh, i didnt mean the hardware requirements, i ment other requirements, like does it need something installed, like original CS or shit like that to work? And can it be "played" offline, for example agains bots and stuff?

Um you could just extract the files from the gcf and run it like that, I did that for original CS so I can have two copies (one I use to mod and mess with).

Can somene answer, is this CS: Source STANDALONE, or what are the other requirements, like having other valve shit installed?

yeah I think the GCF should be encrypted... it was with codename gordon and they didn't manage to decrypt it before it was released

I understand your point. But.....lets see how many people play CS vs COD atm? I am not a cs junkie I just wish to see the source to get pumped for hl2.

Hell yeah I want to get a feel for the engine, and what better way to do that then play CS, which I havnt touched for years. It will be a welcome return to an old game with a new twist.

COd is where its at? LMAO! dont be so pathetic. COD just isnt fun really. cs u can have a 1 on 1 and it'll be great fun. cod is too easy, when they fix recoil and jumping then i might get back into playing it but as it is its shsit. and the sound needs to be fixed properly CS has decent sound and is vital for stealth missions.
