Tried the tutorial again ,alt tabbing between the pdf and the game all the time and I am starting to get it.(took me about 4 to 5 hours though )
Yep... takes a while to get in the swing. Look at it this way... Even if it's not the 'ultimate' game, by the time you've sunk a few dozen or so hours into it, you'll have seriously increased your accounting, administrative and logistical skills.
Good commanders talk tactics. Brilliant commanders talk logistics.
By the way its better to play Rising Sun scenario first.
Dont even think about scenario#15. Its for maniacs!
Play as Allies in Rising Sun, not so many units to command
and a lot of enemies to fight. And even if you lose in this scenario
you can say ''Hell, this is history''.
Indeed, after the tutorial I gave the big campaign a try but was sort of numbed by the amount of stuff you have to do in a turn, I was just looking around for half an hour to see what units and stuff I could play around with.
Will give the rising sun scenario a try...
Yeah, this game does have a steep learning curve but if you pay attention to the tutorial and understand everything your reading, and understand the logic behind the action then you will get it faster.I played a scenrio yesterday, I lost but I think I made some progress, bombed the shit out of the japs.
