Yep, DICE has already announced that they're working to fix some bugs related to the increased bullet spread cause it's true that weird shit happens in some encounters where it feels that bullet hits are not registering.
Indeed:
Gotta test this then but I think even without attachments it was terrible at the beginning.
hit detection issues (and some of the bloom effect) that really robbed me from having a really good experience. It's horrible when you can come up behind a player for once and could easily kill them or knife, you shoot them 3 times and still get killed.
@LeoNatan Was never that bad, not even on BF2042 nor the Beta for 6, felt super off immediately. Don't remember complaining about missing shots on the old ones like ever, people either were better than you or you really missed by miles.

This game is way closer to BF2042 than to BF3 or BF4. Everyone is falling for the biggest nostalgia marketing bait in years. Just look on Twitch, every influencer on the planet is being paid to stream this thing right now, manufacturing hype.
Actually playing it turns bland fast, especially in the old staple mode Rush. The small, boring, meat-grindy maps kill any sense of agency or tactical play. Every modern Rush map just feels like Breakthrough scaled down, leading to repetitive engagements and predictable gameplay. Out of all maps, maybe two even allow for meaningful squad play like coordinated flanking. The rest rely entirely on the collective hivemind somehow pushing through a static frontline to plant or capture an objective. BF1 and BFV compensated for the lack of agency in modes like Breakthrough with impressive map design and memorable locations that made the fight feel relevant and epic. Here, the maps and objectives have the same bland, artificial feeling as in 2042. The experience just feels constrained and uncreative.
What makes it worse is knowing that a lot of content clearly suited for modes like Rush or Breakthrough already exists but is being deliberately held back. Battlefield wants to become Call of Duty so badly. You can see it in the trailers, the tone, even in how they directly mock CoD in their marketing while at the same time trying to copy its live-service formula. The focus is no longer on delivering a coherent, design-driven gameplay experience as the USP, but on gluing players to your game by retention-maxing: battlepasses, microtransactions, weapon-variant bundles, seasonal FOMO drops. Content like classic BF3/BF4 maps is rationed out just to keep players on the leash. It’s the carrot-and-stick model. And we, the consumer cucks, keep taking it, as long as they wrap it in enough nostalgia and a few “iconic” throwbacks to make us feel rewarded or “heard.”
The campaign is no better. Cheap, empty, and painfully uninspired. It tries to mimic Call of Duty’s cinematic flair with gimmicky mission setups but lacks any of the pacing, authenticity, or mechanical polish. It even tries to go the CIA-Consipracy route, just as the last few black ops installments. It’s a bad imitation of what modern CoD campaigns already do better, which says everything.
And then there’s Portal. Basically what was already promised and marketed for in BF2042.
In the end, BF6 is simply what EA always wanted BF2042 to be, made palatable with nostalgia and a huge marketing campaign. Unlike 2042, it’s at least technically smooth.
Oh, welcome back Grouchy! I thought it was weird that you hadn't posted here in the last 24 hours, I bet you spent several hours hunting for a negative review (let alone one that was aligned with your views). Looking forward to your next post
Anyway, here at the end of this video (25:19) is a nice guide by TacticalBrit for using Portal to set you up a locally hosted match where you can freely test and practice flying all the available aircraft and even induce a few bots to get themselves onto a helicopter or jet and dogfight you

Is secure boot required the same way that it's 'required' in Windows 11? I mean, can you run the game without it?
The game will NOT launch unless you have both Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 enabled. The anti-cheat will throw up an error and the splash screen will close. No getting around it.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Here's my next post:
I looked for someone with a minimum of clarity and intelligence, un-brainwashed, and with true understanding of how this franchise has gone to shit.
So? What about it?
Still butt-hurt that other people are pissing on your CoD clone and you can't respond with clarity and proper arguments - and instead you attack the person instead of the argument?!
We’ve heard your feedback around the pace of progression, especially how long it can take to unlock hardware such as gadgets, and weapon attachments. We know progression is an important part of feeling rewarded for your time on the battlefield.
As initial steps, we are working on the following changes to progression and how it feels as you play:
The XP gained from match completion and the daily bonus are being increased by 10% and 40% respectively.
The XP needed to unlock the first 20 attachment ranks is being reduced, so you’ll start earning useful attachments almost twice as fast.
Please Note: For weapons that are already being progressed, the UI might display something abnormal at first, but this should resolve itself once a match is played while using that weapon.
The assignments that required career ranks 20, 23, and 26 to begin will now require career ranks 10, 15, and 20, respectively.
While this allows these assignments to be started sooner, we are aware of the frustrations regarding the challenges themselves and are actively working on reviewing them, but it will take more time to develop, test, and implement these changes.
