Yeah, I think it was pretty obvious it was a joke. You know, since it was delayed so many times and the video only gives september 4 as a date, but ok.
It makes sense though. Small team and given prior sales it’s a cashcow. They only have to release something semi decent and they will be swimming in money. And the low price counters piracy, it will boost sales numbers.
Kinda bummed that there is dialogue from Hornet to the NPCs. So far there seems like a lot of dialogue exposition compared to the original. But Hornet talked in the original and she's not hollow, so i guess it makes sense.
Gave this a play (having never played the first one) - what exactly is all the fuss about? Seemed like a generic, though thoughtfully drawn, platformer. They didn't even put any effort into the VO's - just gibberish (yea, they're bugs or whatever, but still).
How are people so excited over this? Why does it warrant such acclaim?
