nope TV just NOW shows the BD versions of the Spartacus show that you could buy , that has uncut episodes
what does it mean , well this show was cut to fit the schedule not to censor it ,so they cut not needed scenes to make each episode fit in its time slot , of a episode was too long
same as in Game of Thrones BD episodes are longer because there have scenes that where not removed to fit it in TV schedule time slot
maybe the scene does not bother with it , when they are already BD rips from the whole show ? you know the retarded DUPE rule and FAST RELEASE of crap above QUALITY ....
I think these episodes are actually even longer than Blu-ray versions? Atleast the trailer would lead you to believe so as it clearly says "never seen before" while the Blu-Ray has been out way before these were announced?
it's not about fcc or anything, it's about syfy labeling themselves as a family PG channel and so it seems odd, that they add M rated shows to their repertoire.
I haven't watched it or the review but I gotta ask ..is it about having a female black gladiator? Coz it was quite possible back then. It was rare, but possible.

The Halicarnassus Relief (Evidence of Women Gladiators)
One of the most famous pieces of evidence is a relief from Halicarnassus (modern Turkey) showing two female gladiators named Amazon and Achillia.
They were awarded missio — release without death — indicating they fought well.
Their stage names (“Amazon” and “Achillia”) are Greek mythological warrior references, not their real names.
We don’t know their ethnicities, but such stage names suggest they were presented as exotic “others.” In Roman art and writing, Amazons were sometimes depicted with African or Eastern features — as symbols of foreignness and wildness
