I'm having problem with my windows installation as it has become VERY slow. Like the first time I open my computer it can take 30 sec for it to open and so on. This is very annoying, and I also notice it on games and other applications. As soon things are in the memory though, there's no problems.
There's not a problem with a fragmented drive, as I defragged it two days ago to see if it fixed the problem, but with no luck. The disk is now fully defragmented, but the problem still remains.
I tried to test the drive speed by copying some files over to another drive and got a speed around 10mb/s. This is low for a SATA disk, but should it be causing so large slowdowns?
This is really starting to bug me, and I hope I don't have to do a reinstall, or worse, replace the disk.

Could be a Physical address extension problem. Does your processor support hardware enforced data execution prevention?

Yeah, I have the latest drivers.
My cpu supports the data execution prevetion, as it's a AMD 64 3000+.
Never heard of a "Physical address extension problem" before though, how can I check for that and what do I have to do to fix it?
