Nah, nothing like that, it's just nonsensical FPS drops

I assume you get similar performance on that?

Crazy how modern Yakuza games perform better with 2/3/4X the detail

Rarely 70, but i just checked a bit. Only play for a couple of hours at work when i don't have anythng else to do, otherwise i'm playing on my PC. Have yet to finish the second last Yakuza though but only played them on PC.

From what I found on the Steam forums / Reddit, it seems like RT reflections can be turned off but they aren't fully being disabled in some scenes. That's why it can look average as hell (eg dorm room), but some lights still have RT applied to them and it tanks the FPS on low end hardware

That seems to be the consensus anyway

Deck users: enable the 'Proton hotfix' in compatibility settings and the game works at 60FPS+ now

Tried it myself, the only place it's not 60 is the Velvet Room (50-55ish)

They arent. You can see reflections if you look in the right places. Inside the dungeon on the lower floors i saw reflections in the floor even with the setting off. Only a bit in the distance though, it disappeared when i got closer.

Finally beat it after 64hrs (all on Deck)

I don't know what the original was like but this was pretty good. I liked the consistent difficulty, Persona 4 and 5 had crazy spikes on hard (moreso P4), but this remained a good, constant challenge

The final boss was a bit too easy, it makes me glad that I didn't do any grinding at the end for special personas.

I hope they don't remake 4 next, it's fine as is. They need a new entry to the series, or to remake the earlier ones that actually warrant it.

I give it 8 weebs out of 10

this version fixes up tartarus and makes it way less of a grind so that's the positive. old tartarus combined with the exhaust system would filter so many people these days Laughing

What was it like before? ~250 levels seemed like overkill, did it have more?
