Yeah, that was not a bad show with good ending. Something like not from Wokesney!

They clearly didn't plan on making a Season 2, at least so soon but Disney was running dry on projects and Loki season 1 was a huge success
So they figured, how can we continue this without affecting the MCU at all? Without having a plan at all?
Well, let's just waste 90% of the season with quirky chaos and fan servicing with an ending that is basically this:
The whole season didn't matter, it was really about the last episode being a continuation of Season 1, Loki is right back where he was at Season 1 (even ending up in the same place with the same two people) with that great realiziation if he wants to break the cycle he has to become the one who remains
The only cool thing was the irony of him having had so much character growth (in season 1 mind you) that he didn't want a throne anymore, but he took the ultimate throne anyway in a great self sacrifice. What a martyr
All the other characters had no growth and were just "there". I mean fuck did they do to Mobius? Quirky unfitting lines and standing in the background while Loki does his thing?
And Sylvie was just there to.. be angry? No character growth whatsoever and ironically became the "worse" Loki when she was supposed to be the special Loki once upon a time, the one to break the cycle, not just the cycle of Lokis but also of the TVA. But hey, prolly raked in some nice cash with that McDonalds deal
It was a no consequence season that was just created to bridge the gap and rake in some money.
They really thought they had something clever there with the time jumps and loops, wannabe Nolan
But it was very cheap, Loki was there in the future to prune himself.. which also didn't matter
Nor did Viktor Timely aka Kang, all just Red Herrings to stretch a simple idea (the ending) into a whole season
Even the fans had better theories on the net about how it's a time loop that ends in Loki creating the TVA in the first place, maybe Timely becoming Kang etc.
The only part of those wonderful theories that remaind was that OB did in fact teach Timely everything he knew.. which he then taught OB.. or the other way around, but they never elaborated or cleared that up. Just ended up being a nice gimmick of no consequence.

obviously this was supposed to happen after ep4 ending, all the clues were there, even more so when loki and kang have that discussion and agrees in the last episode, guess they reshot the ending and they made loki take kangs place because of the controversy, because he quickly changed his mind after he spoke with kang and that seemed a bit forced.
