lore for first time since we can skip it on consecuitive runs, Necro or Rogue, but i tend more to Necro since everyone else goes Rogue (because IMBA).
I rather go for s full skelly-blood mix or shadow-debuff non minion build, it depends on what legs with affixes i get and build around it.
Did some theorycrafting at https://d4builds.gg/ the best buildcreator so far, not 100% perfect as stats are still not ready but to play around with the knows affixes and the paragon boards and specials its still decent enough.
same for me, i had great time in 1st beta reading everything and doing every little subquest and realized i wont finish beta (to get 25lvl trophy) and wont check other characters if i would play this way lol. on other ones when i rushed it sucked, like half assed play through the game.
actually d4 story and lore seems great, like in regular rpg and dialogue seemed very well written in that 1st slavic like area, hope other acts would have similar level of quality or better

I enjoyed playing as rogue immensely. It's funny how I chose it, even since the first beta, since rogue is usually not my first choice in c/aRPGs. But I am surely gonna stick with it for a while...
probably anyone will try any class over time, but from what it looks actually druid might be most powerfull overall in late game, nercro is kinda meh, barb is to slow and not that interesting for me, rogue lacks defense and survivability but its fast and u might rely on that for survival which in later game might be harsh, looks like most of advanced players will go sorc, i will go sorc cuz i always done it this way since d2 (and d1 later on, cant play other classes lol, they are simply too slow).
rogue is probably the fastest one with the most mobility but it looses its meaning cuz u can get the horse in open world pretty quickly in full game
The problem with these games is though that's it all designed around endgame.
And endgame is about grinding and fighting spongy bosses in endless fights, both I don't like.
I do hope that the campaign at tier 2 offers a decent challance. And I could dig a lit of endgame if there is a decent way to progress, for me that would mean progressing through even harder, not exclusively boss fighting, content with decent variation, gearing up in the progress. And not exploiting some stupid loot run or boss fight over and over again as is the case in your avarage aRPG.
It is cosmetics and it is pointless if you're going to play a lot. You'll naturally get the pass done anyway within the time alotted. Pass probably won't tick during early access.
The premium pass does offer extra tiers compared to the normal pass and it's not only cosmetics, there are also xp and gold boost. The accelerated pass is only to skip tiers.
And since Blizzard is greedy and the seasons ony last 3 months...you'll probably want those boosters to get the content done.
Also my guess is early acces will be fine, most people will start the 6th, servers should be fine I think.

i mean, you know you can play game once and lave it? or play with few classess till harder diff and leave it? its always the same, no one forces you to play constantly, but with seasons you have option to do so, to the extent you want to lol.

i bet it will be fine, bought the one tier up to play early. all betas were fine, some minor problems were in 1st few hours, serverslam worked perfectly. i understand that if milions player will hit the servers at the same time there might be some queues but i dont care about that.
as for seasons - dont care about paid/cosmetic stuff totally, basic campaign, few classes, other difficulties (meat of diablo game/end game) will give me hundreds of hours of gameplay easily.
if they put in seasons something that i find intetesting i might check it, but i totally dont care about some cosmetic/fomo aspect, tbh i dont understand how can you have fomo about fucking virtual skin for items lol. diablo for me isnt competitive game, its like dark souls - experience game, why the fuck i should "compete" in single player arpg, its like who does baldurs gate/fallout faster, who has higher dps/kills boss quicker /care

How were last beta weekends? Sounds like they made the dungeons less annoying with less backtracking?
basically better in every way. game runs/looks great, zero server isssues (dunno if there were less people but there were literally zero queues, zero server lag), dungeons are fixed, other tweaks to skills. optimalization is wicked, also it looks waaay better in real life in 4k than in any stream, its sharp asf, outdoors or some particular dungeons look great.
also they can quickly update stuff on the fly from the server side, without deploying patch lol
btw some ytubers got game for 1-2 weeks now but cant talk about it much, embaro lifts on 30
