from what ive seen, people with older gen of cpus have problems, no matter if its i9 but its from 3 gen ago. those with newer are compiling the shader in half an hour where with older ones full hour or more, and have big loading times in game. i think that dll helps but to a certain degree.
Seems like due to the game targeting PS5, the developers fixed performance bottlenecks until the linear levels ran fine on the console's Zen2 cores and abundance of bandwidth. Now it's up to your PC to handle it.

The game finally compiled shaders.... Now loading, I started the game 5 minutes ago and it's 25% loaded who allowed this?
Didn't have that problem here although I did copy over that DLL that was mentioned on Reddit and waited for the shaders to load. Now at the part when they're heading towards the Capitol.
good i played in on ps3 or ps4 (cant even remebmer now) years ago. also its nothing special, its ok-ish tpp action game. 2nd is better but at the same time filled with lgbt/jewish anti male crap to the point its fucking ridicilous, also it draaaags like hell, should be 2x shorter wihtout unnecessary crap, would be even better

Seems like this confusion is very frequent atm much to my surprise, people really hyping up the PS3
I'd reckon lametta just meant it's more or less the same game, hence it doesn't matter all that much though

Only played for a very short bit (intro + bit further), but as for now, it's not as bad as I feared, to be honest. I put everything on ultra and dlss on quality just for giggles as it exceeds the VRAM with 130% and I'm getting between 40 to 70 FPS (FPS goes all over the place really). Still sufficient for the cinematic experience

Fixed several performance & hitch related issues impacting some users

Added extra crash diagnostic information to assist in investigating shader building related crashes and other common reported stability issues
Just installed it and started it once for the shader stuff and it took 20 mins on a NVMe, will test the game later on and see how performance is without the patch and with the patch.
