Life Is Strange Prequel Reportedly Leaked
The supposed prequel is reportedly being developed alongside Dontnod's new Life Is Strange game

The leaked images (seen in this Imgur gallery) indicate the prequel will focus on Life Is Strange's Chloe Price and her best friend Rachel Amber, who is missing at the start of the original game. According to French website Gamekult (via NeoGAF), the prequel is being developed in addition to Dontnod's recently announced followup to the episodic teenage drama.
According to the report, the prequel is being developed by Deck Nine (previously Idol Minds). The leak follows yesterday news (via Gematsu) that Deck Nine is currently "deep in development" on a narrative-driven game in a "critically acclaimed franchise." The studio said more news on the project — which may or may not be the Life Is Strange prequel — will be revealed later this month at E3.
A prequel would be one of three known Life Is Strange projects currently in development. In addition to Dontnod's next game in the series, publisher Square Enix and Legendary Entertainment have partnered for a live-action Life Is Strange TV show. |

Holy shit I got to the part where you can

save William and Chloe is disabled. What a shock, I was like NNOOOOOOO!!! And then the game kept throwing salt in the wounds with the pain and the medical bills and her being alone and deteriorating, fuck you game
Then I refused to kill her and changed everything back to normal because that's ALL I wanted to do. But I am curious, is this mandatory? I mean are you forced to hide the keys and save William and then are you forced to change everything back to normal? |
Is there a Youtube playthrough when someone has made different decisions in their playthroughs so I can see all possible out arcs if any?

iirc yes its mandatory, and the sad thing about it: everything you can do doesnt affect the ending of the game, its only one big choice at the very end which changes the outcome. everything else leads to a few different scenes throughout the game but doesnt really matter

It was the same for me as well. One hour in: "Jesus christ, why on earth am I even playing this"
At the end of the first episode: "Maybe it's not that bad after all, the story is kinda getting somewhere. Will keep playing"
Then without even realizing it I found myself aboard the feel train proudly wearing the honorary badge of the shakabrah cereal committee.

I didn't realise how much I cared for the characters until the game proved it to me by killing/harming them or making them sad.
I chose the good/necessary thing at the end but I wanna see the bad/selfish ending on Youtube at some point.
I haven't seen a story this good in a video game for a while, the one that comes to mind is Game Of Thrones RPG. Top notch.

Haha yep, I'm afraid it all goes downhill from there. I couldn't actually finish Life is Strange 2 because I cared little for its direction/characters, whereas True Colors was more of a mixed bag - there was an attempt to regain the mojo but I didn't find it anywhere near as impactful or gripping as the original game.
There's also Twin Mirror, but it's best to draw a veil over that one

Character attachment was strong on this one indeed, and that is what sells it, and makes you play till the end, regardless of nothing much affecting the outcome, but, it is 'THE RIDE' ,and what a journey it was
