This game must have been designed by the people at Visceral that made the microtransactions. No way some core developers thought this design was a good idea.

Well, if it's indeed also laziness from the publisher's part too with the ctrlc ctrlv then I guess it's better than the alternative, which would be really stupid for a single player game

well this game is gonna have to stew a bit. Got stutters when i see new things even with that line above and i met a non working elevator. Maybe because i pressed it before the guy started speaking, i dunno

I recommend to use only the Engine.ini tweaks described here and the command line argument "-dx12 -xgeshadercompile"

Finished it. Took me 11.5 hours. Boring boss fight. Cliffhanger ending. Guess they will sell the real ending as a dlc.
Nothing in the game was scary. Same jumpscares 400 times.

AAA gaming is in a fine place, all these crap games make money. Quality of AAA games is bad but it where it needs to be to sell.
What were they trying to do with combat in this game? Give the player godmode powers by pressing left or right? Awesome QTE like cinematic combat? its certainly a dumb down but i don't understand what they were trying to do with it.
