Is there any way to make this permanent? It changes back to normal every time I restart the game.

You can try changing the properties of the modded files to read only

Finished this late last week (had to go to the Mayo Clinic so that's why I'm posting now). Loved it. Getting ready to take on Requiem. Did have trouble at the end. Must have played that part 10 times  Spoiler: | due to getting stuck too close to the white rats. |
Anyway, loved the story. Puzzles weren't that bad either.
