Gone are the days when crackers were all about the challenge to outsmart the copyprotection.
I guess Denuvo killed that spirit in the few that remained since it apparently takes MANY hours to crack.
the CODEX quitting statement made it seems that the lack of competition (aka them being the only ones doing the hard protections) bored them enough to quit , rather than it killing their spirit
Man, coming back to this after playing Elden Ring is rough.
I tried 3 separate times, and I just can't get into it anymore. And it seems the game just started to open up a bit more (I basically just received the paraglider and opened up the new part of the map).
In a press release exclusive to GamesRadar+, Techland said that Dying Light 2 hit the five million mark on February 28, a little over three weeks after its release on February 3. In the following few weeks, the studio says that "numbers are significantly growing every month," suggesting that players are keen to dive into the sequel after the seven-year wait since the release of the original Dying Light in 2015.
I'd love to try this, but I don't think they ever fixed the hardbound keys issue.
Basically, even though you can rebind almost all keys, when it comes time to use them when interacting with the environment / combat moves / quick time events, the bindings don't work correctly. The developer obviously doesn't give a shit and likely never well, so it's a skippity skip for me even on the yarred version.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Performance in the Starting Area was superb, then later inside the city on my way to the hospital the performance went jackshit and i got like 15fps
Did some setting adjustment inside the NV Panel and back to over 100fps @ max settings.
Here if anyone has the same issue and is intrested:
