I completely forgot that on May 18, 2002. My and my parents came to this great country. They won the green card lottery and here we are 20 years later.

I don't know. I wasn't here for 9/11. Came here in 05/2002 where everything was already fucked up and going down. But my Mom took a risk in 2008 to get a loan a buy a house which was the best for everyone involved. House is worth twice as much now. Went to college, got student loans, etc, got a City Job. Feel like NYC goes to shit over last 20 years. Streets are unsafe. More deranged people on the street. They just sleep on train stations more then ever. Guns and random hate crimes against Asians especially are on the rise. We have Mayor who doesn't even live in NY. Trying to push every one to come to the office b/c of the pressure of Real Estate Tycoons..

I agree...and there are quite alot of cheap houses in Detroit you can buy Wink
