I been playing Bass for over 20 years...actually longer. Jazz, Fusion , Rock, POP, well anything really. Big bass heroes for me is Marcus Miller, Jaco Pastorius...Victor Wooten (hes almost to much ) Anyhow to make a long story short. An old friend from Swe just sent me this...If your in to Bass, actually just ....check it out. This guy for sure blow my mind!
I think hes also playing fret-less, witch makes it even more impressing.
And then some for the true Bass Lover
Marcus M...Man does e groove or what!
And another
MR.Groove GOD , MR.Marcus Miller.

Holy crap!! Thats freakin awesome! Some serious hammer-ons and pull-offs.
Ive been playing guitars(not bass) for almost 2yrs now and I know that kind of accuracy is insane!
damn.. 7 years on guitar here, tho not equal in all aspects to bass.. i can appreciate the accuracy and skill needed. i also think he's playing a fretless, looking at how the light gleams off the entire board and not the frets. i wonder how he keeps the other strings so silent, i keep thinking that he might be using his other arm as a light palm, rather arm mute? anyways, nice find captain, will be showing my bandmates this.
Just thinking about the amount of pain .. that much practice costs .. gives me a weak stomach .. serious aching jointz .. I get it in the neck, wrists & back .. but its worth it if you want to really push the envelope ..
Nice post .. captain

Look at the top of the fretboard, he got some cloth rapped around the neck, I guess that dampens the strings.
Speaking of Swedish bass players, we have Henrik Linder who plays bass in Dirty Loops:
He's using a bass with natural temperament frets. This guy may look emo but he's a BEAST on bass. All three guys in the band are virtuosic.. I'm not too fond of their soul/pop influenced fusion but I hear brilliant playing when I hear it.
This is probably the only song of theirs that I like:
