Yeah, this ended up being near Cyberpunk's numbers at launch. Which is interesting, because while Elden Ring was an anticipated game, it didnt feel in the same stratosphere as how Cyberpunk was. Cyberpunk you could feel it, people were taking weeks off from work for it, every youtuber was shilling the game, had chairs, jackets with the game. It felt like the whole gaming world was waiting for the game.
Elden Ring seemed much more tame in comparison. At least from my perception. Yet it did 90% of Cyberpunks numbers. Sales should be in excess of 7 million based on those CC numbers. PC dominating the sales of these games ever since Dark Souls 1 and yet we have such technical incompetence on display here and so little care for the PC version. They dont have any staff member that knows how a pc game looks like

technical question:
since reshade shaders can be added to geforce experience now (https://github.com/crosire/reshade-shaders/tree/nvidia) i have been using that to get rid of some of the banding which is usually pretty bad with OLED+HDR. However, for some reason geforce experience insists on always activating its horrible sharpening feature on startup (slider at the top) so i have to deactivate it manually every time. any way to disable this?

Edit: Beat Godrick on second try, too, all thanks to Jelly bro.
Don't sleep on him, he's really useful for pulling bosses away from you when you need a breather, and you can also get a few hits in when they're focused on him. |
yeah, jellybro is the best since usually he keeps distance
other summons rush in and mob the boss and so die easily to area attacks | Sorcerer geezer bro is also ranged

yeah, 80 something bosses isn't much of a boast if the 5 or so side dungeon bosses are anything to go by
and i hate how it just eats input randomly

The mens with the input issues, are you using m+kb or derptroller? Still haven't noticed any issue regarding the controls.
As for the bosses, it's quite jarring to face an enemy boss after already beating that type on the open world somewhere else (the pumpkin head one, for example)

Wtf...if you open the Steam browser and visit some sites, say, fextralife you can see a significant fps drop
1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB
2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

I'm on a controller. Will try with kb and mouse.
Andy yeah, I was hoping the bosses would be a bit more unique and not just regular enemy but bigger and painted black or something.

i'm not playing it, i tested it briefly...
i read the comments for the video, so you are supposed to roll when you release the button, not when you press it.. this is because run shares the same button. ok. didn't feel good to me, very laggy, and obviously such method will be slower than if it happens when you actually press the button.. doh.. but maybe its something you get used to. supposedly it's the same as in the other games (been ages since i played DS1 now).

Hmm, I remember when i first launched the game and I was fat rolling, the roll seemed a bit laggy. But haven't encountered it since. Game ran like trash when it launched but after a few hours everything smoothed itself out it seems. How many hours have you guys put in so far? It could also be like Vurt is saying, that you might be holding the input too long, who knows i may have subconsciously learned that
