In the case of the 2nd boss's sweep, i just block the first hit and dodge the rest. That way i don't have to react to the sweep or guess what hes gonna try to do. On my 3rd or 4th try i was able to get out of stage 2 at age 23, very doable.
I did get to the final boss and it was quite a.. humdinger. I thought it was one of those cinematic battles im supposed to lose because i couldn't even hit him Definitely gotta practice that one.
Finished the game two times now, 2nd run with the extra requirements for the true ending and found all collectibles.
Nothing left to do but I feel like starting it again, once you get in the flow its such a fun and addictive combat system, great game.

I'm playing Sleeping Dogs (never finished it, to my shame), and just completed the kung fu training. And only then noticed that the kung fu master is called Sifu, and the final move you learn, Dim Mak, requires the 'Y+B' button combination
