But... Bioware is dead. We're left with Biowart, an EA infected entity that will never ever become what they once were.
We need a revolution. Send all the executives and heads of the big publishers that bought all the great developers to the guillotine. Please. The days of the late 90'ies when developers and publishers where separate, when innovation was ripe. Now we're stuck with indie developers that can't raise funds to pay for talent necessary to rise above the limitations of small personal teams.

That's just capitalism running it's course, nothing to do with the exact personas of managers and executives. It gave birth to this industry and it will always shape the industry to fit its laws, whether we like it or not.

And the industry is rotten. That's why it needs a serious root canal (or amputation).

Ah cmon, DA3 was ok. Sure it's not DA1 but I thought that even here (where it's really IN to hate on bioware) people acknowledged that DA3 was not trash-level. If Bioware can produce a DA4 that's at least on par with DA3, I'll be happy for another AAA-budget and reasonable-quality RPG to go through.

Inquisition was fun at times in a cheesy sort of way if you just followed the main story, but everything else about it, the general mmo-grind gameplay loop and side quests where pretty much trash level.
If they can make something similar to DAi, but cut the fat, it might be an ok game, but its not what you think of when you say "Bioware", or at least its not what you used to think, because obviously, these days a result like that would be surprisingly good. That by itself tells you all you need to know about the decline of bioware, when mediocrity is not even expected, but celebrated, since expectations are so low.

I saw my brother playing one section when I was home for holidays when it came out.
He was supposed to be playing some supreme leader character, but all I saw was him having to herd cows for some lazy dude.
