Prime Matter, the new publishing label under Koch Media, will publish Dark Crystal Games-developed science-fiction tactical RPG Encased for PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG when it launches in September, the company announced.
I hope they fixed the combat. The last time I played it I got my ass handed to me in the first area. And that was about a year ago. I went to the Steam forums looking for advice and it seemed others were griping about the difficulty in the first area too. I was trying to figure out what I was doing wrong, like maybe my build was bad, I didn't search around enough for weapons or items to help me take down the enemies. But I also felt that for a game that allows for combat, I wouldn't think you were supposed to run from it at the beginning.
Edit: Yep, went and checked the forums. As of two days ago, a person mentioned they got owned in the first area by 3 rats. Dev responded that they are fixing it for the full release. Ugh. Can't believe it's taking them this long to fix the combat.

Weird that there is zero notification on steam or in my steam library that it's out of EA, etc. I only get a sponsored post on facebook.

Hopefully they'll do something to re-design/re-balance the second half of the game which is seemingly rather half-baked. I haven't properly started it yet, still waiting as per tradition
I haven't played since release because I'm waiting for some patches and other things in life.
But it has better less childish writing than ATOM. The stealth was OP, I was playing on hardest difficulty so had to chose my fights.
From what I read - First two acts are great, the latter are rushed and have less content. The different Wings have some nice RPG flavour.
My friend whom I recommended it to, finished it. Said it's not as good as Fallout but solid and had fun till the end. And gave it 7/10.
