It really is a great game that I thoroughly enjoyed. (man that soundtrack was something else)
I finished it multiple times, got every ending, did a lot of side quests and spend roughly 55 hours on it.
It was my first Nier game, since I didn't play it on the PS3 and I still haven't played Automata.
With only Halo Infinite catching my interest until the rest of the year, it will be a great time to work on my backlog, so maybe I will try Automata as well
Replicant I couldn't finish and not because it feels dated. But the content is so all over the place and I didn't feel compelled to continue. I still have it installed, maybe one day I'll give it another try.
It is funny the Square Enix seems to be pulling Denuvo from their games after a few months now but for some reason refuse to remove it from Final Fantasy XV. It is almost like they forgot about that game or want people to forget about it.
i played like 30min of automata and didnt liked, would playing replicant first make me like it?
I've played Replicant for about 2h and I feel it's way subpar to Automata, so most probably nah, Yoko Taro's magic is not for you I guess.
EDIT: 8h in and it's such a disappointment
It's not a Platinum's game that's for sure. At first glance it's very similar but after a while you start noticing that the small differences that make it less enjoyable overall.
Whole design feels amateurish.
I'm glad I didn't buy this. At the moment it's 6/10.
