Makes you wonder if the reason all the RTS stuff is simplistic and automated, all the resource micro is done automatically is because they were eyeing a future console release.
Seems that at this point there are no more genres left sacred on PC. Iso crpg's have tu play well on pads, mmos as well, strategy games as well. Paradox just announced Crusader Kings 3 for consoles and people on their forums are wondering if the tablet like design of the game is due to that.

(Re)forcing it's way to consoles?
What kind of a name is that?! "REFORCEd".
Oh wait, I get it!
They are right: ANY PC RTS game going for consoles would be a pathetic, streamlined, downplayed, downgraded, FORCED version of itself while playing with derpad.

they destroy anything and respect nothing, i believe the only thing that could be considered sacred is the ppl that actually care about building a good game for pc and not modifying it to accommodate potatoes, i can think about the guys from X4 i guess they have this philosophy.
dunno about vannheim folk never played it but seems they did right.
anyway it's about few ppl not companies

At the end of the day it mostly boils down to the actual effort companies are willing to pour into a specific game/project when going multi-platform. I agree that the ideal scenario shouldn't involve any consoles in the first place (more so with RTS games and RPGs), but realistically speaking, the vast majority of publishers will never say no to the extra-juicy profits coming from the couchpeople, thus leading to us having to systematically accept compromises in some form or another.
Typically these days we can consider ourselves 'lucky' when developers manage to keep the streamlinization process to acceptable levels by designing something that's not too insulting to us PC folks.

it was only 10 euro, less of a hassle with updates, which i assume will be coming since this is a big update.
I also don't mind supporting THQ Nordic, they're one of the more interesting publishers.

It's €6.59.
Unless you consider a possible refund, ofc.

Figured that out in the first place.
I was just saying that it's cheaper elsewhere, but... you can't refund it.

This SpellForce.3.Reforced-PLAZA contains:
> SpellForce 3 Reforced
> SpellForce 3 Soul Harvest
> SpellForce 3 Fallen God
However, on Steam it appears to only be the main game on SpellForce 3 Reforced
As all the other are on sale at a higher price, can anyone confirm the Steam vers has all 3 games as it is not clear on Steam.
I don't own any of the games yet.
Cheers

it's strange that it's not even advertised on the page, i really thought i bought the base game, but i checked now and it has all; fallen god, soul harvest and 3 other DLC's.
overall steam is terrible when it comes to explaining what a new version of a game does, often you have to google it to understand what you're buying.
Steam overall is kind of terrible, after all these years i often still can't find where to go back to the Store, sometimes it seems there's no way to find it. You'd think it would be a thing to kind of prioritize.

uh no, i guess i was wrong. i checked under installed mods and the expansions are listed as Installed. But when you actually start a game you get the main campaign, Old-Halayash (or whatever), then the DLC's has a "BUY NOW" screen. Though those clickable screens does nothing, doesn't take you to any kind of buy page + they're not listed as DLC's on the SpellForce 3 Reforced page.

the reforce thing is making the original campaign have the new stuff introduced in the 2 later DLC's, so that's doubtful.
true, the publisher could do their pages better..
