It just sickens me to see people hate on this game and/or the devs. Is this game great? No. Will I ever play it? No, not even pirated.

But this is a small dev with ~20 people who put a lot of work and soul into this game, and not just an anonymous global Ubipoop team who churn out products. In contrast to "AAA"-games those devs here tried hard and apparently this just shows how expensive and consuming it is to make a good game nowadays. This is not another Cyberpunk and if people don't like it, why can't they just let it be?

well they are bunch of ex-JustCause devs .... so hitting similar review scores with fraction of a budget and fraction of devs is a success imo

To me it seems like the game lacks focus, it has a lot of decent ideas but they are all mashed together and it barely holds. At least that what it feels like after around 4 hours of the game.

I get it's not everyone's cup of tea but it has it's own charms, intro shows it's a bit more kids oriented than originally expected but it does share a good few bits of some old jump and runs that I enjoy. Also had more features in it than I thought. Full price isn't helping but it's easily worth £25 or so.

Definitely not a full priced game. I played just for one hour but the exposition dump and lackluster writing with a mix of great graphics and something like from a scam game (the memory lane part with village) unity shop assets(tm) doesn't encourage to have great or even good expectations.

The combat didn't felt bad at the beginning but after a while it came clear that the hit boxes are all over the place and for example in the fight with that village burning Kupa-Kunga (whateva) I got hit with his flame attack not being in the cone of it I Am Disappoint
Also so far it feels like mix of Fable with Kingdoms of Amalur for kids.

Agreed. Leaving aside the expected roughness, the juvenile tone and overall superficiality of its mechanics, the game simply lacks a solid core that can keep my interest alive. Honestly, there are so many aspects that I dislike about it that I'd rather dismiss it as 'not for me' and move on.

I think it actually did. Just take a look at the trailer* from 2017:



*They show various biomes and different open large environments.

I think hey just didn't have enough time / resources to properly fill in that open world.

So 5 more hours. Jeez... the dialogues are such a gibberish I don't know what the characters speak about.
I got a quest to buy something from another character (Moog) but I don't have such option or I don't know if I have because all dialogue options are gibberish.

The magical MMO like life regeneration by mobs if they return to their area after you aggro them. Boss, I mean "boss" monster that have less life than their adds
So far I just run from one marker to another marker in mostly lifeless but pretty enviros. The stats doesn't really matter most of the time as I shoot most of the mobs if the hitboxes register. They are just there because that's what you have to have in your game. The special abilites, it's all suprificial.

I dunno if it's some kind of ISO Demo protection but I rarely find any resources for crafting and money so I play with 7 weapons I found and can't craft or upgrade them.

I dropped the game after a bit more than 4h, sorry not sorry

THE GOOD:

-Nice scenarios and character details
-Curious weapon designs
-You must pee on posts to quick travel...Yeah,i know, "mark your territory" (Or not)

THE....OH GOD, FUCK...

-Bad UI (If you had stuff to create for your character then please let me know at it's body if i have options to make for it!.. Among other crappy UI stuff)

-Gameplay issues (You "dodge" without pressing the corresponding button(s), shooting with a rifle feels slow and the shooting speed varies randomly, even after upgrading/changing pieces)

GTFO outta 10

-THE NARRATOR MUST SHUT THE FUCK UP !!!!!

-As a gun-focused main, just beginning the game you can shoot 2 bullets to a big badass look-like-a-boss and the guy just flops down to the floor already !!!!... ON NORMAL !!!!!!

-WHERE'S MAH MONEY, BRIAN (Family Guy!?

-The story is AWFUL.. Ended up looking it up on YT and....Ok?...

Most likely we will be able to deliver the update to PC platforms first and then to consoles.

Ye, the dialogues are so frustrating. Tired of pressing skip all the time because they are so slow. Thought the characters are retarded or something. Neutral
Also the skills descriptions beginning EVERY DAMN TIME with "To use/shoot X press the input you have bound the ability to". Mad Either move this sentence at the end or separate it on a new ;ine from the real info.
Another minor but annoying issue is that there is no lock-on-target. I liked how it improves DMC's combat and expands the combos but they don't have to use it in the same way in Biomutant. Just feking add it. Especially with all those adds.
