Does it matter if you set the graphics higher then your video memory?
It didn't with RE2R and RE3R which run on the same engine. The RE engine games seem to vastly overestimate the memory requirements.
It may matter this time with ray tracing. For example, the RTX 3060 (12 GB) performs better than the RTX 3070 (8 GB) at 4K res because it doesn't run out of memory.

will activate the patient bear mode, have not much time atm to play games anway and the demo didnt convinced me to buy it early (though it even runs very decent on my htpc (ryzen 3600, gtx 1660 super @ fullhd).
maybe i should sell my htpc, people paying over 400 euros for that gpu... dont know what i paid for it, but it was less than 250 euros over a year ago
Btw the ridiculous frame drops with the sisters are still not fixed (for example the attack of the bug lady) in the full version just saw it in a stream, funny enough even the weak ass old gen consoles don't have this issue seems like Denuvo could be the issue after all.

I am not sure if Gypsies have their own names. They usually use the ones in the countries they are in/pass by/come from since they are mostly nomads. They do like to have names of flowers or whatever. In Bulgaria some popular Gypsy names are Zyumbyul (means "Hyacinth" in Bulgarian), Kharamphil ("Clove") or Versace or Adidas. (we never use such words in names, ever)

Dimitrescu, Demetrescu, and way more commonly Dumitrescu are names that Romanian people use.
As far as I know Romanian and Gypsy people are not necessarily the same thing so I wouldn't call her a gypsy.
The origin of the word is Greek indeed, but "Dimitrescu" itself (or any of its other spellings) is not a greek name.
But considering Capcom has the wrong pronounciation in the game, we are all way overthinking it more than they ever did

tbh im at home, second week now, will be for another 4-6 weeks the case. next week appointment with the surgeon (carpal tunnel syndrome), but cant play games with that hand atleast a week after surgery
Well, yes. All those family names ending with -"scu" are Romanians.
But as far as I understand gypsies don't have surnames. They use the name of their clan. Similar to how in India there are millions with the surname "Singh" or "Khan". After all the popular theory is that Gypsies come from India. But because counties require surnames for ID's and passports and try to avoid having too many people with the same names, they are usually just given a surname from the country they are in. Or maybe they are clanless or I don't know. So, it's still possible that she can be a Gypsy.

Wait guys ! Why would you buy a game with Denuvo that slows down the rig !? Wait at least one year, Capcom will ditch Denuvo as they always do.
Yeah i think will wait for a while, i thought about buying it but the lack of a proper fov slider allrdy soured me on it and from what i can see from streams and reports there are numerous performance issues.
Some could actually be related to the Denuvo implementation since they don't happen on any of the console versions even base ps4/xbone.
Edit: Btw, isn't 'Gypsy' offensive ? Romani would be proper.
True gypsies take pride in their nationality. They are proud to call themselves 'Gypsy'. Not all of them see things this way, though, as the term has devolved into something pejorative nowadays. It's not hard to understand why...
