The demo was pretty meh, uninspired and bare-bones though... Yeah, it's the beginning of the game and basically a tutorial, but considering it was in the demo, that's the only thing that counts when it comes to making a decision whether you'll buy it or not and the demo was definitely not good in this regard.
So far it looks like the poor man's destiny 2\ warframe..
seems like it can be "the one". Pretty accurate conclusion of article - "Not a Destiny killer or Warframe replacement, but just a solid entry in this genre that will keep players occupied as long as they want to stick with it, without timegating future content into live service seasons. And that’s what I think feels refreshing to many potential players."
about your Forbes argument. If you think that passionate gamers can't write valid articles or impressions on Forbes or similar sites, then... argh i need to resist...
Over the years I read multiple forbes gaming articles and they were a freaking joke. It's a website worthy of the same trashcan as kotaku, polygon, eurogamer and the rest.
So, it's out and I've been playing like an hour (vid in proper section), and well...
it runs worse than the demo...
So far, it's getting trashed on steam. Will pause my progress, for now, staying below 2hrs, and see what happens, before I probably getting it refunded.
The game runs fine on ps5..however it's a stutterfest on PC..
.regardless of your PC specs..
The game has major issues on PC.. read the steam forums, watch other streamers, watch Joker video on the PC version of this game.. It 's a stutterfest
I watched several streamers today and the game had microfreezes every 10-15 seconds..literally every 10-15 seconds.
What's interesting it's not clear what causes it. Fextralife played for an hour or so without any freezes, restarted the game and it started feeezing every 10-15 seconds.
it seems for now that the latest nvidia driver is at fault for the stutters. Use an older driver
Nah, happens on new and older drivers.
according to steam forums, this could be an issue with 2000 and 3000 nvidia cards. People with 1080ti say they dint have issues regardless. People with 2000 and 3000 said rolling back to previous drivers removed the stutters. There also seem to be an issue with the "fake" pc gamers, meaning if you have controllers pluged it produces some type of conflict between mouse/keyboard and pads producing stutters.
No issues here with the performance on 6900XT, runs 100fps capped on 5120x1440 + 200% resolution scale, only issue is that game is still pretty bad, that starting zone is so god damn awfull, perhaps it gets better...
