Does the Asus tuf gaming version of the 3070 any good? I amanged to find store that sells the 3070 at decent price, I might buy it soon before it will run out of stock.

Watch Dogs is crap, Cyberpunk was a flop, there's nothing new that comes close to needing a 3080/3090. There are games like The Medium that will benefit more but it's just because optimisation is garbage.
I haven't even used my 3080 PC in weeks. I've mostly been playing games on my laptop (Diablo 3, some emulators). 10XX/20XX series still play everything well enough. Even looking ahead for the year, I can't see much that would need it. Many games are still going to be cross platform for a while, like Far Cry 6, so until we start getting those new gen only games, I wouldn't say people are missing much.

I remember trying Star Citizen on a 780... then a 980... then a 1080... then a 2080... and now on a 3080 it still runs as poorly as ever
Star Citizen is still so unoptimized in its Alpha state it is very CPU dependent, even just depending on the server you get in can alter your FPS. It will be interesting to see when they make an effort to actually optimize the game if we will see big jumps in the FPS or if this will just become like Crysis and it will be another 10+ years before it runs well.
I think Star Citizen proved how long interest can last for, i too was scammed into backing at minimum. I'm so disinterested in it even the meme's have gotton old. Maybe a surprise S42 announcement will hype it back up or something.
