Wow, this game is not getting much attention here t the hump. And its fucking 2019 GOTY.
It's still on my backlog (Nvidia drivers had a dark brightness issue that was solved recently, couldn't be arsed to downgrade back when I wanted to play), but I thoroughly enjoyed the game's beginning.. it's good old DMC and the V character and how he plays is refreshing.
Always wondered if this game provides any sort of challenge. I had it on my hdd at release and all I can remember was uninstalling it quick after some mindless fighting on generic monsters. ^

It gets challenging real quick on the highest difficulties, the first couple hours are more or less a tutorial and are a breeze.. nothing as harsh as DMC3 though
What sucks is that only two levels of difficulty are available at the start, and Devil Hunter is pretty much a "Normal" mode, and it's not very hard if you're used to DMC games and know how to combo well.
You gotta finish the game in Devil Hunter to begin unlocking the rest, and that rest.. is very challenging The difficulty level above Devil Hunter is Son of Sparda, and if it's anything like DMC3/4, it's notably more difficult, a proper challenge. One-shot death for you but tons of health for enemies on Hell and Hell which is the highest difficulty, I believe.
To sum it up, DMC games aren't exactly famous for being easy by any means
On some level, it's also a matter of how you choose to play it : there are some "cheesy' tactics you can use in order to force your advantage, but doing it with style is the real deal
The very unique fighting styles of the 3 characters are the best thing about the game.
Enemies are lacking, it's like 3 types only with one different attack. Bosses are stupid and very forgettable. I still remember from the DMC3 that fucking centripede or the Agni and Rudra brothers. Here I already forgot everyone. The levels are also common and nothing interesting. The cringe emo V was next level annoying to me.
But oh boy, Nico has a damn fine hot ass. Every time she gets down to pick some Devil Breaker my eyes were in tears from joy and happiness.
Ahah, cringe is kinda part of the whole deal.. but I agree, level design and bosses weren't very exciting from what I played, I guess it doesn't really improve

Come on. She has the belly of a trucker... Above the belly button she looks good but down is just meh. Even those thighs are more fat than curvy.
Just look at the fat in the second picture here- https://www.instagram.com/p/Bsl87fJAvUR/
She is either swallowed her belly in other pictures or was on a short diet because in almost every other she is fatty. Tho compared to some of the abominations in this one she looks like a stick - https://www.instagram.com/p/Bcnc211FDGx/
Vergil will be offered as paid DLC for Xbox One, PS4 and PC at a later date.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition is specifically being developed and optimised to benefit the system architecture and leap in processing power offered by PS5 and Xbox Series X, so we’re focusing on these platforms. At present, there are no plans to release DMC5SE on PC.

Another bs that next gen is stronger than current pc hardware
This is just a Japanese publisher acting weird again it's nothing new, if i had to take a guess it's most likely because PC players at least expect a steep discount on upgrades like this and generally don't really like to buy the same game again full price or something like that.
Capcom absolutely loves to sell the same game with minor changes again and again since the early Street Fighter days.
Being fair, the game is already on PC, the Special Edition seems to only have Turbo mod, improved graphics and includes DLC... most of those things could be added via modding.
