If I read previews properly, Nomad seems to be the most challenging. New to the city, you explore together with the MC. Going to the city for the first time could be fun. Difficult to choose between Nomad and Street Kid.

Nomad of course, screw being some street punk shithead. Desert shithead, now that's the life!

Street Kid is the obvious choice for a true cyberpunk / Neuromancer like experience. A cyberpunk is a street punk, basically, not corporate or some hillbilly...

Looks more like a corp to me!
Damn, he can carry nearly 80 gigs of data in his head!
Was this already posted? Am I even allowed to post it? Should I post it?
Anyway ResetEra losing it's collective shit because of the apparent "transphobia" and "alt-right" pandering of CDPR and Cyberpunk 2077
Half the board seems to be torn between wanting to play the game and hating it.
Complete bullshit ofc. Though I'll agree that if they declared themselves to be so inclusive might as well have let people pick the pronoun instead of making it dependend on your voice.
You can literally run around as a jacked dude with a grizzly beard but if you got a high pitched voice everyone will refer to you as a girl. Bit odd?
Resetera is full of mentally ill degenerates. So, not surprised.
Not saying it doesn't have a place in the game, but for me street kid is the original idea presented in Neuromancer, which you can say Cyberpunk was inspired by.. there are many characters in the Cyberpunk universe that aren't "punks" at all, obviously.
I'm going corporate because if I'm going to be running around as somebody's lapdog, I might as well get paid the big bucks.
Though while I say that, I haven't really been keeping up with the game news outside of release dates so I'm assuming that this three backgrounds are sort of like factions that take you on different story paths.
What I saw from the thread at r/games it's holding a 91 metacritic currently, haven't checked reviews and scores, because I don't want to read any spoilers, but it seems like it's doing good.
Superficial and often "edgy" aesthetic choices often have no real purpose, which makes them grating rather than adding anything relevant to the world
The incorporation of different cultures and backgrounds is wildly inconsistent, from good to inaccurate to downright offensive
I've been using Hola for a long time and never had any issues. Not to derail this thread but do you have any prove to backup these claims, just out of curiousity.
@Gamespot Review: Bolt claims on the crashes when not reviewing the day one release build.
pretty neat Gamespot strategy - letting to review Cyberpunk for a noob girl which plays pokemons and stuff and tell her with a clear intention to rate the game not higher than 7 = baitclicks to a website soooo many comments...
