Am I understanding this right?
They are upset a movie set in 1940 about a bunch of white men, is full of white men?
I can sympathize, the movie happy feet about dancing penguins I watched, was shockingly over represented by penguins. And I watched a movie about Japanese culture in japan..I was appalled, it was slap FULL of nothing but Japanese people.
Don't even get me started on Schindler's List, I am still fuming how little the black race was included in the movie covering jews in WWII Germany.

Well they took liberties with the accents, why couldn't they take liberties with the colors of the actors?????????

I think its overly retarded overall to get so up in arms about what race anyone is in any movie.
Don't like it. Don't pay to see it...pretty simple. Not EVERY movie is going to contain everyone's separate ideal of the correct ratio of ethnicities..
I don't like olives on my pizza, but I am not outraged that the pizza I didn't want to eat nor pay for, that someone else did to eat it themselves, has olives on it.
Or the other way around. I want more pepperoni on my pizza. Someone else orders one with none I don't walk to their table telling them I expect them to add pepperoni to it, because its not a good pizza without it. Place sells pizza without any pepperoni at all? I..just won't spend money there. I won't bad mouth them because they didn't reach my quota per pizza of pepperoni.

If you (implied you of the people complaining in the article) are shoe horning them into the movie for the sake of diversity...isnt that doing the OTHER thing you can't stand? Tokenism? They are literally only there because you needed 'some' to be there.
