Must be really sad working on this. Imagine releasing a new update every week, then seeing only 4 people playing the game and thinking "Nothing I do really matters..."
All that time on money on something no one asked for or wanted, at least you know difinitively and can put it on the scrap heap rather try polish a turd for years like D3.
