For those that don't play the game, maybe so. But at least it's actual (albeit scripted) gameplay without any bullshots.
Those in the know however will see a lot of saliva inducing stuff with mechanics that have not been known about yet - destructable walls (sorta levolution?), flying debris and an assault squad dismounting from a BTR.

It's not really for new players per se, but rather to hype up existing players. Almost all new players would have come through word of mouth or watching youtube videos and streams, and the game grew organically on just that for years.
