That was pretty awesome didn't think they would actually bring out Terror as well
Shame it was only for one episode, also looks like
Spoiler:
as expected they are going with Stormfront's origins from the comics where he/she was the first Sup created by the Nazis although it was no secret in the comics and he was openly a Nazi since no one actually gave a fuck about it
Yeah, I heard they diverged quite a bit. I just hope they don't want to milk it in perpetuity just because it's successful. I want the shit to hit the fan.
4 seasons tops would be fine. TBH with the major change they did from the comics, Homelander should've killed the Boys in season 1.

I haven't read the comics and I don't care about them (as far as the tv show goes). Many many comics and books don't work well in tv/movie format if they'd try to be as close to 100% faithful as possible. That's why so many movies and shows based on comics and books tend to stray away from the pacing and many details of the source material in order to make it translate into a good movie/show.

Well, The Boys should have superpowers. I don't think this concept wasn't going to work in the tv show. As Vurt said above, Homelander should have killed them by now.
Vaught made them terrorists - that was the plotline for them. On more personal note Homelander humiliated Butcher by showing him he has a child with B's wife. I enjoy this show greatly but this is a bit of weak sauce. In comic books Butcher made a deal with Vaught to force cease-fire but there the Boys are jacked with compound V and are equals to most sups except maybe Homelander and Queen Meave.
Spoiler:
Also the bargaining card that Homelander is a rapist was a bit on the flat side when they already revealed that Vaught manufacturers sups. It wasn't really established like in comics that the Seven are that important to the corporation. Especially when in previous episode it was said that they are first and foremost the big pharma company. Also Homelander in the comic is literaly Superman and everyone is scared shittless of him snapping and going on killing spree.
The comic book put more pressure on the fact that sups are humans and humans are stupid. And in a world where people with super powers are real most would just be idiots that can be utterly devastating contrary to what marvel and DC portray.
The show sometimes just looses itself like Vaught hiring Stormfront and letting her just smear over her employer. WTF? It just doesn't make sense.
Didn't like this season so far but new episode was very nice.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Watching some clips from last years FanExpo and it's so weird to hear karl and Antony talk in their accents, lol. Especially Antony sounds so different from his characters, lol.
