I would have liked a chance at a free copy but I am just not sure the game is worth $60 even though I liked games like Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2 and Marvel Heroes. A lot of people will probably try to defend all these tie ins by saying the heroes will be free but it seems they will nickel and dime you for everything else as I expect the most sought after comic book looking costumes will end up real money items.
I will give the PC beta a try this weekend though as I got a free code for that to see if it might sway me any but I think I will wait for the first sale on Steam as $40 seems like the ideal price point for me.

wow, performance is garbage. installed the high res texture pack, everything at max (motion blur and dof off), cant get stable 60 fps in 3440x1440 on a 3700x/2080ti.
Gameplay is ok, i dont want to spend 1000h in it, but for a quick ride its fine.
i liked mavel ultimate alliance 1 and 2, so i dont get why i cant switch heroes mid mission when im playing solo. And i cant give orders like defend or attack to ai compaions, this stinks aswell. When they fix the performance and stock up the roster i will be satisfied. I keep my preorder (2200 ars is fine by me).

I finally gave this a try and it does run terrible for me in the cutscenes with lots of textures not loading in or massive freezing and stuttering but the actual mission gameplay did not seem to run that bad. That opening section on the bridge was pretty bad as almost all the cutscenes had issues though but I guess that is a plus since whenever I get the game it will all hopefully be fixed by then and since I missed a lot of cutscenes anyways due to the issues it was like the game did not want to spoil it for me.
It made me feel like the game really wants to be on an SSD or something with the issues I was noticing in the cutscenes so maybe whenever I get the full version I will try running it from my SSD.
game dosent seem that bad....at least the beta. intro is good, after it gets very mediocre. beat em up looter with meh level design and very simple fighting mechanics that looks very clunky with many players. its not the worse ive seen.
still dissapointing since its a crystal dynamics game, the co op part feels like its from a different developer, like rage 2
I never understood what people see in this game since the day it was announced. It looked and still looks like a mobile game scaled to higher resolutions with different key bindings.

It seems they were going to announce Black Panther as DLC on their War Table show this morning but mentioned they had to change the show due to Boseman's passing as they probably did not want it to seem like they were trying to capitalize on his death with the announcement so most are assuming that they will show Black Panther in a month or 2 as he will probably come out in December as the first DLC hero Kate Bishop will come out in October and Hawkeye in November.
