Fox news licks trumps crack up and down and is the most viewed network. There are multiple big outlets that lie and downplay trump's retardation on a daily basis. What are those if not mass media? I don't subscribe to that. I think that meme way of thinking fucks the world up harder than people realise.
The sane thing would be to push back at both 'extremists' views. Not go 'huehuehue that will irritate this or that side'.
At least in Europe we have more options with our political systems... but I do wonder for how long. Seeing everyone seems to be in a hurry to import/emulate the retarded American system. Of thinking only in left or right terms.

So, maybe not get into politics at all if you 'REALLY' don't care.
That's not me ordering you to do that... you do what you want but not caring doesn't mean you don't influence people with that kind of behaviour even if its just a cheap laugh for you.
Not that I can stop myself from giving cheap shots at times. But it be nice if people knew they have an effect on others.

I don't think we really have more options in Europe, but more an illusion of choice.
Because maybe on paper, you have all these different parties, but in the end, whichever party wins will group together with similar aligned parties to get the majority and the rest will group together to form the "opposition" to try to not be absolutely fucked in votes.
And it's pretty much the same picture in every democratic country. You have "Democratic Socialists" and the "Conservatives".
