There is no substance to this damn game, no gameplay. It starts really nice in the car, then in the apartments then in the first crime scene. But soon you realize all you'll be doing is walking around one goddamn apartment building and having conversations with ... little panels on locked doors. The memory tapping sequence was ultra boring, I was just walking wherever I had to to go to the next scene. Yeah yeah, very surreal, such wow, just get on with it ... totally meaningless. Then the game just sent me on another floor to yet another apartment, obviously wasting my time because they don't have much of substance to show, uninstalled.
They managed to bore me even though I am a sucker for this cyperpunk theme, amazing!
Weird voice acting, too. Uneven and bizarre at times.
We're not nextgen enough, Personal Console lives don't matter I'm afraid :'(
As much as I enjoyed the very atmospheric walking experience, it's a title that has practically zero replayabilty though which makes the botulinum treatment quite an odd decision in the first place for those who have already "played" it.
I'm mid-game in Observer Redux and now the display screens on the doors have suddenly disappeared. Audio still works, but no display video of the tenants anymore. I tried going back to an earlier save and resetting all config files but they're still gone.
I checked a Youtube walkthrough and the same was happening there as well. Anybody know what the fuck is up with that? What a strange bug.
edit: seems to break after going into Amirs head. I tried loading a very early, even older save and there it is still working. All saves after Amir have missing screens.
