| Quote: | Sadly, just as things are about to get good, the game also abruptly ended. Close to the Sun is a little bit on the short side. I finished my playthrough in just under four hours. Sure, there are a handful of collectibles like masks and invention blueprints, but those are not necessarily integral to the enjoyment of the content. I did try to start a new game to see if anything would be different the next time around but, so far, I couldn’t find any changes.
Close to the Sun almost had a glimpse of the heavens. It could’ve been a worthy inclusion to the pantheon of modern horror games. Unfortunately, its bland story and character design, as well as the lack of challenge or “scream in terror” moments, make for a rather uninspired and fruitless journey. |

Played for about two hours, it's alright.
Art style is nice, graphics are decent, the premise is interesting but execution isn't great.
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

its 52gb installed. game is not that good anyway, has nice graphics and detailed world but voiceover is terrible and its very short, a walking simulator but not a very good one

I finished it. All the game had was good graphics. The story wasn't worth playing it through, especially because the few actual gameplay sequences there were were terrible. I'd have preferred a simple walking simulator with light puzzles.

Oh dear, is that true: They gave it away for free before putting it on Steam/GoG?
If so, who could have thought that be a hard pill to swallow.
