Ubisoft Film & Television has partnered with Adi Shankar for Captain Laserhawk, who previously produced Netflix’s Castlevania animation. The show will form the basis of a multiverse with other Ubisoft titles, although it's currently unknown if that is to create a tie with the Watch Dogs cartoon, or with other unannounced shows.

"Adi is such a great fan of video games. We share the same culture and references," Helene Juguet, managing director of Ubisoft Film & Television told The Hollywood Reporter. "It's been great to give him the freedom to do something very fresh and bold with our characters."

Ubisoft is also toning down its M-rated Watch Dogs action-adventure franchise for a tamer “cybermystery” aimed at tweens. The show centers on a teenaged "super hacker" who solves crimes in her high school. Concept art below

In addition to Watch Dogs and Far Cry shows, a Rayman show is also in the works, as well as a show based on the mobile game Hungry Shark. These will be family friendly and sit alongside the Rabbids Invasion series, which is soon to have a special episode set on Mars. Outside of specific IPs, Ubisoft is also looking to create an animated sketch comedy show about video game culture.[/quote]
