When they first announced it I was like hell yeah! Now...I wish I didn't see it. Rune doesn't deserve this.
- it looks pretty bad (models, effects etc)
- they went to epic..probably coz they realized no one would back this shit up lol

If i remember right from the alpha the combat itself was a blast , but well when everything else is shit

But it wouldn't have been fine. The first game released 19 years ago and it was miles ahead of what we're seeing here. A few months after Severance released, which was even more amazing. I don't even understand THIS at this point. What are they even doing?!

There are some sponsored streams right now and it looks... weird? I don't really care about graphics but this seems open world with some base building and crafting that I don't think it's needed for this game. Probably they try to tick as many as "today's hype" boxes as possible which will turn into a mediocre game at best.
It's like a poor man's co-op Assassin's Creed with wood chopping and rock mining, I guess.

yeah ... the combat system was pretty much 1:1 to original Rune back when i tried Alpha , its just everything else was baaaaaad ... especially with how the game tries to be poor man's Ark (aka online openwordl survival) instead of being Rune
