Looks bad ;/ I have it installed and ran few benchmarks but I am waiting with playing it with my buddy (we want to play 5 in local coop). Maybe they will patch it a bit in until next week. It's pretty stupid for two 30yo guys to play gears of war for whole days but I love it
1,2,3 were amazing at the time. I've replayed those countless of times and the attention to detail and weight is staggering. Especially coming from 1 to 2. I think even 3 compromises some stuff over 2. Same thing happened with Gta IV on 360. Iv had amazing physics and attention to detail still not beaten by any game imo. V was just big
There is 4k emulation on xbox one x of 2 and 3 but sadly no Gears 1. Think I will keep my 360 on the shelf and plug it in once a year or two for replay together with The Darkness

Same here! I don't know how many times I've fired up the old 360 and played Gears 2-3 and 3.5(Judgement)....fun times. They can be played on the Xbox One X and they have sharpened them up but I don't own an Xbox One X....I play Gears of War Ultimate on my PC and it is pretty sweet also!!

Then there's various scaling options and overrides from the exe properties to the settings app for Windows 10 that might override the way this works too and could be useful to try.
If you can get into the games options "video" and check the screen scaling is proper. I know this sounds obvious but just double check. If your monitor is 1080x1920 make sure the game's is 1080x1920....just a thought?
I also noticed that nvidia just released a new video card driver for Gears5 and others! If you have an nvidia card.
As a side note maybe a reinstall for the video drivers? Be it AMD or nvidia?

Graphics are awesome but kinda soulless so far. I think it's better than Gears4 so far but that's not hard to do but it inherited bullet spongy enemies.

its just more of the same, average gameplay but great graphics. crazy how this genre just vanished with the release of this console generation, last gen were so many clones
Act III is even worse. The whole open world was so pointless.
