I understood what you meant, I just don't understand why more input or tech options would make a better game. The current change in gaming is the result of the change in user base and the massive growth of that user base.

I agree with you.
And Yondaime I understood too what you meant but I think you are wrong about the fact that consoles holds back PC gaming. I understand your point of view, and you are probably RIGHT for some games, but you are wrong for some others for sure.
I mean you are right as in some games are probably not optimized for PC and only the minimum has been done cuz consoles can't handle more, but I can't agree about the fact it's the only factor, and that if consoles didn't exist, this would solve all problems on PC gaming.
Diagrams of a peculiar-looking piece of Sony hardware have appeared online and are probably of the devkit used to make new PS5 games. There is a small chance that what you’re looking at here is the design for the PlayStation 5, but considering how hilariously ugly and overdesigned it is we don’t think that’s likely.
They would naver make it look this fun. It will be just another slanted black box

Sony just revealed a lot of new information about their upcoming next-gen console officially named PlayStation 5. Sony's Jim Ryan and Mark Cerny talk about PS5 Ray tracing, major improvements to the UI, Controller (Dualshock5) Improvements and much more. It seems that the Ps5 is going to be a very powerful and capable console and will give Microsoft Xbox Project Scarlett a run for its money. Holiday 2020 is going to be a great time for gamers.
I would not be surpised if there would be "SSD game cartridge" (manufacturing 50-100GB drive costs nothing these days), that would be actually pretty nice for games that are so fucking big these days, takes forever to install them from multiple DVD´s.
Judging by the leaks it appears that Microsoft have the superior hardware. I'm guessing that Sony have left themselves some headroom for a PS5 Pro further down the line. I'll be waiting for that before I throw my hat in the next gen ring, that's unless there's a miracle and Microsoft have some actual exclusives that are amazing and aren't available on PC.
