Acting is bad and unconvincing/stiff, some of the vfx are bad, trailer music is shit. Actors don't seem charismatic, their faces are tired and they look like they'd rather be somewhere else. And I would like Daredevil-style beatdowns instead of kiddy magic orbs and cliché moves.
This looks shit.

I've watched two eps, I like it very much. It's not a high-end show and the fantasy parts are ridiculous up to this point, but it's very fun and the fights are really good.
8/10 for first two eps.

After the first two eps I expected lots of crazy fighting, I also like the cast. But all I got was some shitty fantasy story and some cliche moments. When fights do happen it's very good for TV, but it does not happen often.

Main character is garbage.
If they were going to get him to play the main guy, then the story should have been written differently with more focus on fighting. I can't get past the accent especially since all the people he grew up with don't have FOB accents.
You're telling me this guy grew up in America and still sounds like that?
Also that magical guide lady is just awful. I'm confused just what sort of character she is portraying.
Story is all over the place, and it just made me feel sad for Uncle 6 who seemed like he was just out there to make the world a better place in his own way until some ungrateful idiots who he raised to be pretty ok people in general took a big shit on him.
Netflix will pick up anything I guess.
Edit: Oh also yes, how is that guy a kung fu master? The power of a thousand monks and all it lets him do is go toe to toe with brawlers. Which he was doing fine before he got his thousand monk powers.

That's why Bruce Lee created Jeet Kune Do by picking the working bits from many martial arts styles and creating a formless martial arts style that was solely focused on being effective and valid instead of a mix of ideology, some chinese ideal of nature being part of the form etc.
