LFG, it's a party- and turn-based RPG set in Medieval England. Dunno if it's been released already or not, lost track of the game. Playable classes include a knight, a thief and a wizard.

I've got my pc in december 1997. Pentium 200, s3 4mb, seagate 1,7gb hdd and msi motherboard. I only have that hdd somewhere Sad
Parents went full out: There was Duke Nukem 3d, Doom, Quake and Return fire installed on it. Even some music video which blew our mind... just as a video playing on a computer. It was a FIIIINE christmass Very Happy
Anyway - there was also another game. I think it was a point and click adventure game in the style of myst or project journeyman, so rendered static environment. I remember nothing about it. You just clicked on things. There was an intro with "maybe purple" UFO landing... maybe ladder or platform attached? few characters. It was probably some stupid kid's game. No idea why I am thinking about it now. It's not worth searching for it I bet.

So: Intro happening in black void with UFO space saucer, color purple and non human characters. 1997 or older. I only remember the ufo bit from intro. Maybe this don't even exist Laughing

That's a good guess aesthetically but it's not it. 1997 and older. I am probably imagining it and wasting Your time

Nope. The ufo was round and classical. Non human characters were either entering or exiting it through the platform which unfolded. 3d flat shaded renders maybe. Not drawing animations... maybe....
Could be just some video but I think I remember it was a point and click game and worst of all the games on the new computer. Adventure game ain't winning with duke3d Razz Maybe it was some bullshit edutainment or my brain is messing with me.
The game is also not UFOs from 1997. I suspect it could be 1994(first myst type game)-1997 december
