They are the greatest minds disguised as absolute buffoons. Take an "important" topic and talk about nonsense for 10 minutes, and people just gobble that shit up.
Is this directed at Quarterfag and his hump devotees?
Not just, but certainly. Other examples include "independent" "thinkers" such as David Packman who "zomg guyze guyze i have inside info on utub!!111 plz gief moneyz" and thunderp00f who tried to claim radiation poisoning from nuclear disasters is really not that bad. Or clowns like YongYea that only read articles and from time to time make a serious or scolding face to duly earn their patrereon moneyz.
I really don't watch any youtube shit, sorry i watch RLM i think that's it. "Hi its derplo3000 reacting to derpity's hurr's reaction of a subjective real news story, smash that like and give me money for nothing on patreon" -> yep its retarded.
95% could just be a link to a real news story or article. Still its clearly making them a lot of money, i guess people are happy giving money away for someone to dictate some content they could have just read.
These youtubers with their agenda induced remix of other news sources ... Bubbles. Bubbles everywhere.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

The only links that I bother to check are the entertainment-related ones and trustworthy news (mostly in text form ), I couldn't care less about what melodramatic Youtube persona X, expert of the obvious Y and patreon artist Z think about specific things or about "problematics" designed ad-hoc to generate fake attention/clicks in order to ride absolutely irrelevant virtual chaos. I understand though that nowadays this perspective belongs to the minority, many folks enjoy seeking confirmation of self-worth from popular sources, or they just need to feed on silly external mental masturbations in order to feel realized.
Hell, with the huge backlog full of interesting games, movies and TV shows, and with new isodemos&mkvs constantly releasing, why on earth would I even want to waste my limited free time on such redundant and often completely pointless fluff? Last time I checked, I still had a functioning brain (sort of, that's debatable xD), I definitely don't want/need it to turn into some sort of aseptic Call of Duty FOLLOW-based automaton.
Also, always relevant when it comes to the context of modern (dis)information:
