The worst thing about the witcher for me was the gear. I'd be level 5 and find lvl 15 gear, then when I was 15, I'd find lvl 5 gear
I'm only bringing up TW3 because of how much love it gets and how much love I don't see for AC
Both are great games, just didn't even know AC was so vast with good combat.
You should get Assassins Creed Origins instead, it's a better Odyssey in almost every way. Better more varied environments, better graphics (don't know why since Origins was released before Odyssey), more interesting story (only slightly though) and the setting is also more appealing with Ancient Egypt.
The only things Origins lacks that Odyssey has is the naval stuff and the bounty system... Which honestly felt unfinished in Odyssey so it's really not a big deal at all.
even Origins was the same all the way through. Like very huge map and around 5 activities.
(And yeah, this is where I start to quesion that how is this different then Rage 2. If having an NPC telling you that "you need to take back my camp since we used to go there since I was a child" makes anyone change their mind from "brainless shooter with nothing to do, only kill stuff" to "content rich, very deep storyline" then nothing left to say.
In many ways, Origins is kinda "the same", indeed.
But is has a big advantage: the world / environment. It's much more engaging and varied. This means that one can #resist a bit more the temptation to call the quits due to the core repetitive mechanics that appear in any Ubi open world game.

I'm not sure why my post was worthy. No where did I say that Origins is a masterpiece or that it was different in gameplay, only that it is better than Odyssey in terms of graphics (or utilization of graphics perhaps?), environmental variety, more interesting story (slightly) and that the setting is more appealing (to me at the very least). Since the guy for some reason likes Odyssey, it felt like a natural thing to recommend him getting Origins instead.
Your post absolutley fine, sorry if my reaction was misleading.
The was about that I've played origins and even for that I thought it was very repetitive, with huge huge empty map. So the doh was: "my god how bad odyssey can be then" (because i havent played odyssey)
again: sorry.
Not sure about "empty map", what would you expect to find? Plenty of enemies, animals, quests (repeative - sure!). An overpopulated map would be worse.. More varied quests would have been nice though (goes for most games).

Interesting stuff. By playing 5 hours I was done with the game, I already knew all the features the game had, there was nothing I could expect from going to a new desert/town.
That is of course is not necessary a problem, but the map is so huge that the amount of features the game had was tiny.
The other side of the coin is FC5, the amount of radio music they licensed for the game is soo huge, that the actual gameplay hours doesn't last that long.(which is abs. not a problem, its their call.)
Yeah, like i said.. But you could argue that most games repeats themselves after a while, even something like Witcher 3 (which had far worse combat). Though this is way more casual.
Vurt, don't say that about precious on this thread
Yes it's sacrilege here haha, I do like Witcher 3 though but it's not without its faults, like all games Gonna try that combat mod (whatever the name is) the next time i play it..
Where does it say they are banning players? Has someone actually been banned? "Sanctions" doesn't mean "BANNING". But don't let that ruin the ubuter CLIKLBATE nonsense.
just use trainers to enjoy the game as it was intended. instead of being funneled like a good labrat. oh and pirate the game.
That's the case in most games though. Otherwise you have shitty open world games where you do what you want, but those are shit.
In the case of games like this where you're funneled towards paying for "xp boosters", a trainer is a must. especially the XP gain modifier options, Removing the MS influence from game design basically.
