I've had a car (my first one) with a radiator that leaked. I used to bring old 1.5-liter Pepsi Max bottles filled with water whenever I had to use the car to fill up. Finally, during a summer, it overheated and I was out of water. The head had warped a little (according to the garage/service station I used, afterwards I felt like I had been had) so I had to pay €500+ to have them re-hone the cylinder head and replace the gasket of the engine as well as replace the radiator.
