MXGP PRO is a brand-new start, designed to meet the need of the most demanding fans to relive the real spirit of Motocross. Based on the community feedback, players will be able to setup each single parameter of their bike basing on real values and metrics. This
is what PRO is set to be, a videogame with a completely new soul!
Nice, it sounds like (finally) there will be the upgrade in the physics department, very much needed. Even Milestone realized that the reskinning can't last forever
Free and realistic whips, increased air control, ruts that influence how you take corners, and clutch control for super-fast starts. In addition, you can expect hard landings when you come up short on a jump, more seat bouncing, and more realistic suspension which together should see a revolution of the series rather than an evolution.
The official video game of the Motocross Championship is back! Download MXGP PRO and live the entire MXGP experience as a pro.
Adjust your bike's configuration like a mechanic, tuning the suspension, brakes or throttle to make your ride unique.
Experiment with the new Pro Physics when racing and have fun with freer gameplay, thanks to new bike and rider behaviours.
Practice in the Compound, a square kilometre of track where you can freely explore or compete against the AI. You can practice up to 30 challenges to learn real riders' techniques!
Tackle Career mode with your custom rider, starting in the MX2 category. Increase your fame, sign contracts with ever-more prestigious sponsors and become MXGP champion.
All the official tracks and riders from the 2017 season await you! Ready for the challenge?
Was too long ago since I played the old MXGP games, so I just compared to MX vs ATV which feels like dogshit compared to this.
This supposedly has reworked physics though, and on Pro it feels quite slippery and you need to be very careful so your tail doesnt spin out in corners, especially on wet tracks or if it's raining. Haven't tried the races yet though so maybe the AI is dog shit.

As far as I can tell the AI still suffers from the same problems as the past titles, it's inconsistent/bipolar and tends to lack awareness in general (which is sadly something that affects the 90% of the modern racing games ).
The handling itself though was indeed improved especially after MXGP3 which winked too much at the arcade-y side. Whipping doesn't feel as rewarding as I hoped and the jump to UE4 that happened last year hasn't really brought a technological revolution, but despite everything, it's still the only decent-ish modern motocross game that one can find these days.
The official MXGP videogame is back and, for the first time, you will be able to live the experience of the current MXGP World Championship.
Train your riding skills and improve your abilities in the Playground, Unleash your creativity with the new Track Editor and challenge your rivals with the brand-new Waypoint mode.
MXGP2019 will be available on 08/27/2019.
